Precision Parts Platform (PPP)

Precision Parts Platform (PPP) is an industry group that unites 30 NEVAT member companies that are manufacturers of precision products in small(er) and large(r) series. It also has member companies that perform precision processes and manufacture stamps and/or moulds on behalf of third parties. Recently, companies that manufacture precision parts in plastic and rubber have joined the industry as well.

During the last few years, the Dutch precision industry has invested in accelerated production, automation and computerization (CAD / CAM); this has made it possible to quickly, effectively and with a great degree of flexibility, anticipate the specific demands of a broad clientele.

The precision companies have been internationally active for years. The clientele of PPP-members can be found in all sectors of the industry. Also, where it concerns various material applications, PPP-members are able to meet diverse demands. Furthermore, their high level of expertise enables them to provide an effective contribution to the innovative power of their client. They are problem solvers par excellence!

The objectives of Precision Parts Platform include: 

• Reinforcing the competitiveness of the Dutch precision supply industry nationally and internationally.
• Innovative anticipation to the developments in the precision industry nationally and internationally.
• Promotion of the industry at potential customer groups.

These objectives are achieved by:

• Member meetings / know-how exchange gatherings
• Visits to OEM-ers
• Joint company visits with other employer organizations (road shows)
• Consultation with knowledge and education institutes
• Conduct industry oriented researches
• Marketing workshop
• Yearly 'benchmark' - research
